In the story below, Alex and Ani Portland shares how a gentleman came in with specific bangles in mind to gift his wife in celebration of the birth of their twins.

A gentleman recently came in looking to get a gift for his wife. He was looking for the September and October birthstones. He wanted to use each color to represent the gender of their twins. He began to tell me the story of their birth. His wife went into labor at 26 weeks and the twins were both born around 1.10 pounds. They had to spend nine months in the NICU. The twins are now 15 months and doing well but his daughter still requires a feeding tube and oxygen. As a constant reminder of their miracle babies, he also purchased their initials for his wife to wear.
